We process personal data exclusively within the framework of the legal provisions of Swiss data protection law (nDSG) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

a) When visiting the website
When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical data, in particular:

  • IP-Adress

  • Date and time of access

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating System

This data is used for the technical provision, security and stability of the website.

b) User account and registration
A user account must be created in order to use the software. In particular, we process the following data:

  • User-ID

  • Login-Status

Authentication is carried out via Firebase Authentication.

c) Use of the software
When using MarketNavigator, data entered by the user is stored, e.g.:

  • Marktet analyses

  • Journal entries

  • Trading data

  • Settings and configurations

This data is assigned exclusively to the respective user account and is not passed on to third parties.

4. Firebase / Google Cloud

We use services provided by Google Ireland Limited (Firebase), in particular:

  • Firebase Authentication

  • Cloud Firestore

  • Firebase Hosting

Data processing takes place on Google servers.
Google may also transfer data to third countries (e.g. the USA). The transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

5. Payment processing

Payment processing is carried out by external payment service providers (e.g. WIX Payments or other providers).

We do not receive complete payment information (e.g. credit card details), but only information about the payment status.

6. Cookies and local storage

Our website only uses technically necessary cookies and local/session storage to:

  • Maintain login sessions

  • Ensure the secure operation of the software

No marketing or tracking cookies are used.

Separate consent is therefore not required.

7. Purpose of data processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Provision and operation of the software

  • User management and authentication

  • Subscription and licence management

  • Security and prevention of misuse

  • Communication with users

8. Disclosure of data
